Fundraising
Although West Mont is funded in part by the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (Developmental Disabilities Division), many of our programs are supported by charitable donations. Without these on-going contributions, we would not be able to provide some of the recreational, social, and other activities for individuals in our programs.
The Caldwell House
West Mont recently purchased land in Helena for new a facility for the developmentally disabled. The Caldwell House will provide compassionate nursing care for medically fragile or terminally ill individuals with disabilities. This is the first facility like this built in Montana! The Caldwell House will:
- Provide a healthy, safe and therapeutic environment for a very vulnerable segment of our population
- Have a medical staff specifically trained to care for people with disabilities
- Be the 1st healthcare facility of its type built in Montana
- Fill a critical void in the community
